Pullar House, Perth
To provide a full time Premises Management function in respect of Pullar House to support both PKC and non-PKC occupants of the building. The postholder will be responsible for the daily operational management of the building including the day-to-day activities that will ensure the building runs smoothly and efficiently.
The successful candidate will support the Team Leader (Operational Support) in the management of the Councils physical estate and the Premises Management Team, developing and delivering Premises Management activities to include tenant management, customer/landlord communication and consultation, premises related health, safety and welfare, procurement and management of service contracts, and associated project management tasks.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Pullar House safety and compliance requirements. You must ensure that the property adheres to all relevant regulations, including Head of Establishment responsibilities, health and safety standards, and environmental regulations.
The postholder will assist with the management and development of a team of 9 Premises Management staff.
This post is office based and will provide a physical presence on site Monday to Friday between the hours of 0845 and 1700.

We are looking for an individual with a background in building management, property or construction with relevant technical knowledge.
You should have experience of building procedures, legislation, best practice, have an understanding of property related terminology, and have the ability to provide technical advice on specific premises management matters.
The successful candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
Experience of managing staff is essential.
Educated to an appropriate level for the post with a relevant professional membership and/or post qualification experience.
