Duties
- Run the Baby Room in daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the nursery.
- Support staff in delivering high-quality childcare that promotes emotional, social, and physical development of infants.
- Supervise and motivate team members, providing guidance on best practices in childcare and early childhood education.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times within the nursery environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and daily activities.
- Participate in planning age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning and development for babies.
- Support staff training and development initiatives to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
Qualifications
- Proven management or leadership experience within a childcare or nursery setting.
- Extensive experience working with children, particularly infants or in early childhood environments.
- Strong understanding of childcare practices, health & safety regulations, and early childhood education principles.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Valid childcare or nursery qualifications; additional certifications in early childhood education are highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexibly within a busy nursery environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
