UNDERFOUND is looking for an experienced barber to join our independent shop in Altrincham.
We’re looking for someone who is confident behind the chair, takes pride in their work and wants to work within an established independent business with a strong identity.
Applicants must hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 qualification in Hairdressing or Barbering.
We offer two ways to work with us depending on your experience and existing client base.
50/50 Split
- No fixed chair rental
- 50/50 revenue split
- Ideal if you’re looking to continue building your client base
- Access to UNDERFOUND bookings, customer traffic, marketing and brand presence
Chair Rental
- £60 per day
- Self-employed setup
- Ideal for barbers with an established client base
- Greater independence while working from the UNDERFOUND space

What we’re looking for
You must:
- Hold a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing or Barbering
- Have professional barbering experience
- Be confident delivering consistently high-quality cuts
- Have strong customer service skills
- Be reliable and professional
- Be comfortable working within a self-employed environment
- Be able to show examples of your work through Instagram or a portfolio
Having your own existing client base is beneficial, particularly for chair rental, but it is not essential for the 50/50 option.
