Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:30
Occasional Saturdays – paid at 1.5x
Full time, permanent
Earning Potential – Salary:
£47,840 basic
OTE: £60,000 (overtime available at 1.5x)
Fully equipped van provided
Overview
We're looking for a Plant Technician to join an award-winning team covering Southern England. You'll be out on the road, keeping plant machinery running, fixing breakdowns, and making sure customers stay operational. If you're qualified, experienced, and ready for a mobile role with serious earning potential, this is the one.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out major and minor repairs on a range of plant machinery
- Perform PDI works and attachment set up on new equipment
- Complete regular inspections and preventive maintenance to keep machines reliable
- Diagnose faults and get kit back up and running fast
- Keep your van stocked, tidy, and ready for action
- Work with the sales and workshop teams to keep customers happy
- Complete paperwork and warranty claims without the faff
What You'll Need
- Level 3 qualified (NVQ / City & Guilds / IMI) in Plant Machinery
- Proven experience as a Plant Technician
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility on location and hours
- You'll be a great fit if you're self-motivated and want to work independently with proper backup and support.
