Job Overview:
Knockmoyle Lodge is seeking a reliable and motivated Cook to prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals for our residents in a nursing home setting. You will support the Chef and kitchen team in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards.
£50 monthly mileage allowance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals for residents
- Follow dietary, cultural and medical requirements
- Assist with menu preparation and portion control
- Follow all food safety and health & safety guidelines
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role desirable
- Basic food hygiene knowledge
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
