Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately for drinks and food.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, adhering to safety standards.
- Serve food promptly and ensure presentation meets quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Manage cash transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance guest experience.
- Assist in setting up tables, clearing used dishes, and resetting areas for new guests.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, including checking IDs when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
