We are looking for an experienced IT Technician to support primary schools across our region. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving technical problems, and making a real difference in education.
Please note: Previous experience working within schools is essential. Applications without school-based IT experience will not be considered.
About the Role
You will provide on-site IT support to a portfolio of primary schools, typically covering two school sites per day. Working as part of a small, supportive team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving school ICT systems while delivering excellent customer service to staff and pupils.
Your knowledge, ideas, and expertise will be valued, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our services and internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line IT support to primary schools.
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows devices and networks.
- Support interactive classroom technologies, printers, and AV equipment.
- Administer Microsoft 365, user accounts, and security settings.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
- Manage and support wireless networks and internet connectivity.
- Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and system deployments.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions.
- Build positive working relationships with school staff and leadership teams.
Essential Requirements
- Previous IT support experience within primary or secondary schools (essential).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365.
- Experience supporting networks, switches, wireless infrastructure, and printing solutions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- A proactive, organised, and professional approach.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
