Job description
Due to an upcoming expansion, Microbee Ltd is looking for cheerful and highly motivated individuals to join our team of pest control technicians. We are looking for someone to invest in, who will build strong working relationships with our clients and stay with us for a long time.
The working hours are 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday.
What we’re looking for:
· A good level of written and spoken English
· Strong communication skills
· Excellent problem solving skills
· A clean UK driving licence or equivalent
· A BPCA Level 2 in Pest Management qualification or similar. We are also looking for people with experience in pest control who are eager to train to become qualified
The role
The primary job is to carry out pest control maintenance on residential and commercial sites. This includes:
· Visiting the premises
· Speaking to maintenance staff
· Inspecting the site and bait points
· Refreshing pesticides as necessary
· Carrying out additional treatments
· Providing a detailed job report on your findings
Full training involving all pests and treatment methods will be provided. You will mostly be working on sites but will be booked to come to the office as needed to re-stock, as well as for monthly meetings/training sessions with your colleagues.
You will be provided with a company vehicle fully equipped with materials and personal protective equipment.
The office staff will arrange your schedule. You can check it for updates any time using the provided company mobile phone.
Other desirable qualifications include:
· CSCS (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme)
· PASMA scaffold training skills
· Working At Height training
· Signing, Lighting and Guarding training
· Asbestos Awareness
· First Aid
There is a three-month probation period in place, as well as quarterly bonus and commission schemes.
