Nightshift Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver
Monday - Thursday 6pm - 4:15am
Full time permanent position at 39 hours per week, with a degree of flexibility to ensure business needs are achieved.
Job description:
Overview
We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team in managing the day-to-day operations within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various tasks related to Receiving Goods Inwards and Preparing Orders for Shipping.
Duties
- Utilise the warehouse management system to track inventory and Sales orders
- Perform stock counts
- Operate forklifts to load and unload goods
- Conduct equipment repair and maintenance as needed
- Engage in heavy lifting of materials when required
- Handle materials with care to prevent damage
- Pick & Pack orders in preparation for dispatch.
- Process customer returns.
Criteria
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems
- Experience in using Handheld Scanners
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently
- Capability to handle heavy lifting tasks
- Strong materials handling skills
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes

Pay: £13.45 per hour (+nightshift time and a third allowance)
