We are looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join established care teams supporting residents in nursing homes in West Wales.
There are opportunities available at two locations:
- Llandovery, SA20 0EP
- Llanybydder, SA40
The Role
As a Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents with their daily needs and helping them maintain their dignity, independence and quality of life.
You will work as part of an established care team and provide person-centred care in a respectful and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and support to residents
- Assisting residents with meals and fluids
- Supporting residents with mobility and transfers in line with their care plans
- Providing companionship, reassurance and emotional support
- Supporting residents with daily activities
- Maintaining residents' privacy and dignity at all times
- Completing accurate care records and documentation
- Working effectively with colleagues to maintain high standards of care
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for individuals who are caring, dependable and committed to providing high-quality support to older people.
Previous care experience is desirable, but candidates who demonstrate the right attitude, compassion and willingness to learn may also be considered.
Pay and Hours
- £13.39 per hour
- 40 or 44 hours per week
- Full-time position

The successful applicant will be required to provide satisfactory references and complete an Enhanced DBS check as part of the recruitment process.

Experience:
- Care Assistant: 2 years (preferred)
