Responsibilities
Assist with food and meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are ready and properly stored
Support chefs and kitchen staff in cooking, plating, and presentation of dishes
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with food safety standards
Help with food safety procedures, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
Serve food to guests or staff as directed, ensuring timely and courteous service
Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold a safe working environment
Skills
Previous experience in catering or restaurant environments is highly desirable
Strong cooking skills with knowledge of meal preparation techniques
Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills and willingness to support colleagues as needed
Basic understanding of food preparation processes and kitchen operations
Good communication skills for effective coordination within the team
Pay: £12.71-£18.96 per hour
