Summary
Are you an experienced HGV fitter looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced, well-equipped workshop? We’re looking for a skilled and motivated HGV Fitter to join our dedicated team.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs to HGVs and trailers.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
- Complete all work to high standards in line with industry regulations.
- Accurately record completed work using the workshop system.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HGV technician/fitter
- Good understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- HGV licence (Class 1 or 2) is desirable but not essential
- An understanding of transporter systems would be advantageous, but is not essential.
