Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified GDC registered Dental Nurse The position is full time Monday to Friday occasional Saturdays may be required.
The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. The successful applicant will be professional and presentable. They will have the ability to show initiative and work well in a team. A positive and happy personality is also required to ensure a high level of patient care. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.
Duties
· Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and available.
· Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, explaining procedures, and addressing any concerns they may have.
· Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointments efficiently using practice management software, (Dentally)
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
· Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
· Communicate effectively with patients and team members to ensure a seamless workflow.
· Support administrative tasks as needed,
Requirements
· Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications.
· Must be a friendly, enthusiastic, and committed individual who can work as part of a team.
· Strong IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems.
· Excellent organisational abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
· A genuine passion for patient care and a friendly disposition.
