Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to support our hygiene and engineering team. This role involves assisting with the general maintenance of machinery and infrastructure across our site.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background with a hard working attitude. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical expertise within a fast paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities

Perform technical strip downs of machinery to support the hygiene team with in depth cleaning

Assist with routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities undertaken.

Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Skills

Provide excellent 'can do' attitude, working professionally and efficiently.

Proficiency in mechanical repairs.

Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Previous experience in maintenance roles within food manufacturing environments is desirable but not essential. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for individuals eager to develop their technical skills whilst contributing to the ongoing success of our organisation.
