We are looking for reliable and physically fit casual/hourly workers to support our event and store setup activities.
Working time:
Fri 4th Sep late afternoon 4 hours
Sun 6th Sep late afternoon 4 hours
Accurate time will be informed by late Aug

Responsibilities
- Assist with the timely setup of event spaces, including arranging furniture, equipment, signage, and decorations according to event specifications.
- Operate tools and equipment safely to facilitate the installation and adjustment of event infrastructure.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all elements are correctly positioned and secured for safety and aesthetic appeal.
- Monitor the event space during activities to address any logistical issues promptly and maintain a clean, organized environment.
- Dismantle and pack down event setups efficiently after events conclude, ensuring all items are accounted for and stored properly.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times, including proper handling of equipment and materials.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate setup schedules and troubleshoot any challenges that arise.
Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and stand for extended periods during setup and breakdown activities.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, organization, and efficiency.
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, or early mornings depending on event schedules.
- Prior experience in event setup or physical labor is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures related to manual handling and equipment use.
