Povey Painting & Decorating are looking for experienced Painters & Decorators to join our team on a subcontract basis.
We are an independently run decorating company based in Bicester, working across Oxfordshire on high-quality residential and commercial projects. The majority of our work is within occupied homes, so professionalism, cleanliness, attention to detail, and customer service are extremely important.
We are looking for decorators who genuinely take pride in their work and can consistently deliver a high standard of finish.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 3 years’ painting & decorating experience
- Strong preparation and finishing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Clean and tidy working practices
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Own tools and transport required
- UTR number required
- Full UK driving licence required
- CSCS card preferred but not essential
Applicants must be able to provide photos/examples of previous work and references upon request.
This role would suit decorators who are confident working in customers’ homes and who care about producing quality work rather than rushing jobs.
Work is primarily based across Oxfordshire.
