Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential Services
Location: Barton-Le-Clay, Bedfordshire
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our brand-new children’s residential home. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the Registered Manager, lead a dedicated team, and make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.

Your role:
As Deputy Manager, you will:
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
- Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to staff
- Ensure the highest standards of care and safeguarding for young people
- Contribute to care planning, staff development, and effective team working
- Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and professionals to achieve positive outcomes
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience working in a children’s residential setting (management or senior role desirable)
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards it
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Ability to work collaboratively and lead by example
