We are a friendly, patient-focused independent community pharmacy looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Pharmacy Counter Assistant to join our team.
Hours: Part time hours (including every other Saturday). Can discuss further in intevriew
About the Role
As a Pharmacy Counter Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving patients at the counter and offering healthcare advice within your competence
- Assisting with the sale of over-the-counter medicines and retail products
- Handling prescriptions and supporting the dispensary team
- Promoting pharmacy services
- Managing stock, merchandising, and maintaining a clean, organised environment
- Delivering a friendly, professional, and confidential service at all times
About You
- Previous pharmacy or retail experience is desirable
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A positive, team-oriented approach
- Willingness to learn and undertake relevant training
- Reliable and flexible, with availability to work every other Saturday
