Plant Operative / Landscaper
Schedule: Permanent, Full-time.
7:00am – 5:30pm Monday – Thursday (40 hours)
Reserve Rota on Friday’s at time and a half.
Base Location: Standish, Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.
Salary: £31,200 - £36,332 per annum

The Person
We are looking for an experienced individual to join our expanding landscaping team. Our employees are capable, reliable, hard-working and physically fit. They have the skills to solve problems and take responsibility for their work. They enjoy being part of the team and are respectful to each other. They are flexible to fit the business needs and are shown flexibility by the business. Safety on site is paramount for themselves and others.
You should be comfortable taking initiative, communicating clearly with colleagues, and maintaining high standards across all site activities.
The Role
The ideal candidate will be able to tackle a wide variety of different jobs, from excavator or dumper driving to using a chainsaw, vegetation clearance, planting and landscaping. Salary depends on skills and experience, but necessary training can be given.
Duties will include:
· Excavator operation including wide track and long reach.
· Working in low ground pressure and sensitive areas.
· Wetland landscaping
· Fencing
· Tree/Hedge Planting
· Vegetation clearance using strimmers, brushcutters and chainsaws.
Essential Requirements:
· Full clean driving licence.
· Means to travel to Standish, Stonehouse for 7am start.
Preferred Skills:
· CPCS Excavator / Dumper tickets
· CSCS Card
· Chainsaw CS30 and CS31 tickets.
