Hours: 26 per week term time only - 4 days 830am-330pm or flexible over 5 days to include some 830 starts/330 finishes - term time only
Rate of Pay: tbc dependent on experience

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping every child get the best possible start? We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool SENCO to join our team and lead our approach to inclusion and SEND.
This is a varied and rewarding role, working closely with children, families and outside professionals to ensure children receive the right support at the right time. The role will include:
* Identifying and supporting children with additional needs
* Developing and reviewing individual support plans and setting meaningful targets
* Completing referrals and liaising with relevant professionals and services
* Supporting families and building positive relationships with parents/carers
* Completing funding applications and keeping accurate SEND records and paperwork up to date
* Monitoring progress and ensuring appropriate strategies and interventions are in place
* Keeping up to date with SEND guidance and ensuring our practice remains inclusive and effective
* Providing guidance and support to practitioners
* Line managing members of our Inclusion Team, supporting their development and ensuring a consistent approach to SEND across the setting
