Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment with a focus on attention to detail and reliability. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in commercial environments, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas according to company standards
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively
- Ensure all cleaning duties are completed within designated timeframes
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting light equipment or supplies
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled
