Duties
- Develop, test, and deploy robust software applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and C.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications by troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements.
- Design and implement APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to enable smooth communication between different software systems.
- Manage version control using tools like GitHub, SVN (Subversion), and Git to ensure code integrity and collaboration efficiency.
- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to deploy applications securely and reliably.
- Optimize database interactions by writing efficient SQL queries for MySQL or other relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- Develop front-end features focusing on user experience using modern frameworks and best practices in front-end development.
- Integrate third-party services via RESTful APIs to expand application functionalities.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous integration processes to uphold high-quality standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and C.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles and application development methodologies.
- Experience working with version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or SVN.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms like AWS and Azure for deployment and scaling solutions.
- Knowledge of database management systems including SQL (MySQL), MySQL Workbench, or similar tools.
- Ability to develop RESTful APIs for seamless system integrations.
- Experience with Linux operating systems for development and deployment environments.
- Understanding of front-end development techniques for creating engaging user interfaces.
- Knowledge of.NET framework for building scalable enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with VBA scripting for automation within Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
