PREMISES MAINTENANCE OFFICER.
Green Towers, Hinckley Club For Young People a charitable organisation is looking to employ a Premises Maintenance Officer.
The role will include: -
- Direct support to the current operational team (Operations Manager, Admin Officers and Cleaners)
- Ensure centre users have the hired facility set up as per schedule, as well as clearing/cleaning up after use
- Greeting skills to portray a professional image to centre users
- Checking the building (including Plant Rooms) and reporting maintenance issues and faults and where necessary arrange contractors with Operations Managers approval.
- Perform repairs and maintenance within the building including any equipment checks/repairs
- Complying with building inspection schedules and general maintenance procedures (risk assessments/compliance)
- Support the Operations Manager in conducting fire alarm system and emergency lighting tests
The applicant must: -
Be of a clean and tidy appearance
Professional in manner
Have good communication skills
Have a good broad knowledge of building maintenance
Be able to work flexible hours when required
Be able to work both as a team and individually
Work alongside and task the Assistant Premises Officer with appropriate duties.
Must be capable of working at heights e.g. climbing ladders and working from a platform
Hours of work 20 hours per week. (Monday – Friday 10:30 till 14:30)
Renumeration would be £13.81 per hour.
This position is subject to a 3 month probation period.
