We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Camping Shop Assistant to join our team.
This is a temporary role available for an immediate start, with employment continuing until the end of September.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers with camping and outdoor equipment.
- Receiving, unpacking, and stocking deliveries.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-presented shop.
- Replenishing stock and ensuring shelves are fully stocked.
- Operating the till and providing excellent customer service.
- Supporting general day-to-day shop operations.
- Other Duties as Assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Physically fit and capable of safely carrying out regular heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer focused.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and willing to assist with a variety of tasks as required.
Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Please note that this role is subject to a Basic DBS check.
