Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. Also there is a possibility of 1-2 nights out a week.
Duties
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery schedules.
- Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Adhere to all PMA policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driving licence (C+E) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
