Due to continued growth, J Paton Plumbing & Heating Ltd is looking for an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our expanding team.
We are looking for someone who takes real pride in their workmanship and enjoys delivering high-quality installations across domestic, commercial and renewable projects.

What You'll Be Working On
Our work includes:
- High-end new build plumbing installations
- First and second fix plumbing
- Luxury bathroom installations
- Air source heat pump installations
- Underfloor heating systems
- Plant rooms and unvented hot water cylinders
- Heating system installations and upgrades
- Commercial plumbing projects
- Working from drawings and specifications
- Delivering exceptional workmanship on every project
Projects are located throughout Ayrshire and the Glasgow area, providing a varied workload with no two days the same.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified Plumbing & Heating Engineer
- Have experience working on high-specification domestic projects
- Be confident installing complete plumbing and heating systems from first fix through to commissioning
- Have experience with bathrooms, heating systems and hot water systems
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Have excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Take pride in producing neat, high-quality work
Experience with air source heat pumps, underfloor heating or commercial plumbing would be advantageous but is not essential, as training will be provided for the right person.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £35,000 to 45,000 per year (depending on experience)
Location: Ayrshire and Glasgow
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with optional overtime available.
Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
