Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Operative to join our team. Duties
- sorting and grading pallets
- Supporting production or logistical teams with day-to-day tasks
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the work area to ensure safety standards are met
- Operating basic machinery or tools as instructed during training
- Conducting routine inspections of equipment and reporting any faults or issues
- Following health and safety guidelines at all times to minimise risks
- Supporting stock management activities, including inventory checks and stock replenishment
- Assisting with packaging, labelling, and dispatch processes as required
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar operational or industrial role is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as needed
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a workplace setting
- Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks and stand for extended periods
