We are seeking a dynamic and organised Venue Manager to oversee the daily operations of our prestigious event space in. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of events, maintaining high standards of guest service, and managing a dedicated team. Duties
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of venue operations, including event setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Manage bookings, schedules, and liaise with clients to ensure their requirements are met with precision.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise staff to deliver outstanding guest services and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times within the venue.
- Handle guest enquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive experience for all visitors.
- Maintain the venue’s appearance, including décor, lighting, and facilities, to uphold a professional image.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to coordinate services such as catering, entertainment, and equipment hire.
- Monitor operational costs and optimise resource utilisation without compromising quality.
Skills
- Proven management experience within the hospitality or events industry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly yet professional demeanour.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team towards common goals.
- Knowledge of guest services principles and practices to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
