About the Role
As a Bicycle Mechanic at Eleven Bikes, you will play a key role in our workshop, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of bicycles to the highest standards. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will help ensure every bike leaves the workshop in excellent condition.
You'll also work directly with customers, providing friendly, knowledgeable advice and helping them choose the right parts, accessories, and service solutions to suit their needs.
Beyond workshop duties, you will help maintain a clean, organised, and efficient working environment, develop a strong understanding of our workshop processes and point-of-sale (POS) systems, and contribute ideas that help improve our service and support the continued growth of the business.
About You
You are someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for cycling and a strong understanding of bicycle mechanics.
- Takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service and creating a positive customer experience.
- Can confidently explain technical information in a clear, friendly, and professional manner.
- Works well independently and as part of a small team.
- Is adaptable, proactive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
- Pays close attention to detail and completes both workshop and administrative tasks accurately.
- Maintains a clean, organised workspace and takes good care of workshop tools and equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience working as a bicycle mechanic within the cycle industry.
- Cytech qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience working with e-bike systems, including Bosch, Shimano, Fazua, Brose, Mahle, and Avinox.
- Comfortable supporting off-site events and promotional activities when required.
- Flexible to work occasional weekends and event days.
- Good computer skills and confidence using workshop management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
