Counter Assistant (Butcher’s Shop) – 24 Hours per Week
We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Counter Assistant to join our butcher’s shop team on a part-time basis (24 hours per week).
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar counter assistant role or within a deli environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience handling and serving fresh food products.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving customers and providing product advice.
- Preparing and displaying products to a high standard.
- Maintaining cleanliness and food hygiene standards.
- Operating tills and handling payments.
- Assisting with stock replenishment and general shop duties.
Hours: 24 hours per week
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years in a similar role or deli position.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.21-£18.74 per hour
