Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations with enthusiasm and precision. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse management, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, process optimization, and team supervision. Your leadership will ensure smooth logistics flow, safety compliance, and operational excellence to support our company’s growth and success.
Duties
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Supervise warehouse staff to ensure productivity, safety standards, and adherence to company policies.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to track inventory levels, process orders, and optimize workflows.
- Coordinate transportation management systems (TMS) for efficient routing and delivery schedules.
- Oversee the use of forklifts and other material handling equipment while maintaining safety protocols.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline supply chain operations and shipping logistics.
- Monitor profit & loss statements related to warehouse operations to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct regular safety audits within the warehouse environment.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a warehouse or logistics environment with a focus on team leadership and operational oversight.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes including shipping & receiving, inventory control, and supply chain management.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements that drive efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Valid forklift certification with experience operating forklifts safely in a busy warehouse setting.
- Experience managing profit & loss statements related to warehouse activities is preferred but not mandatory.
