Key ResponsibilitiesChildcare & Development
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Provide a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where children feel secure and valued.
- Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through structured and free play activities.
- Observe, assess, and document children's progress, identifying any additional support needs.
Daily Duties
- Supervise and interact with children during play, mealtimes, and rest periods.
- Ensure the nursery setting is clean, safe, and welcoming.
- Work closely with parents and carers, providing updates on their child’s progress and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records, including accident reports, daily logs, and observations.
Teamwork & Compliance
- Collaborate with fellow team members to create a positive and inclusive environment.
- Ensure all safeguarding and health & safety policies are strictly followed.
- Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions to support professional development.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification (or above) – required
- Experience: Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting preferred
- DBS Check: An enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one) – required
- Skills: Passionate about working with children, strong communication skills, teamwork, patience, and creativity
