Job Overview
We are seeking experienced Waiters/Waitresses (min 2-3 years of experience) or Restaurant Supervisors to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Providing attentive and courteous service to all guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience
- Taking accurate orders and serving food and beverages efficiently
- Upselling menu items to maximise sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction
- Ensuring food safety standards are upheld at all times, including proper handling and presentation of food
- Assisting with food preparation and kitchen tasks as required, supporting the culinary team
- Managing guest enquiries and resolving any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including table setting and clearing
- Supporting the team during busy periods by assisting with various operational duties
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with inventory management when necessary
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings, with a solid understanding of serving procedures
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
- Good communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
- Previous supervisory experience is advantageous for those applying for managerial roles
- Culinary experience or background in food service is preferred but not essential
- A genuine passion for guest services and creating positive dining experiences
Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
