Storm Ventilation Supplies Ltd is one of the UK's fastest-growing ventilation distribution businesses, supplying fans, ductwork and associated products to contractors throughout the UK.
With eleven branches already operating nationwide and further expansion planned, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and ambitious business. We have a great opportunity at our Basildon branch for a Warehouse Operative / Driver to become part of our successful team.

Key Requirements
- Ability to undertake manual handling duties and work in an active warehouse environment.
- Practical approach to all branch duties.
- Enthusiastic, reliable and willing to work hard.
- Ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
- Honest, trustworthy and dependable.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good organisational and team-working skills.
- Character, attitude and work ethic will play a significant part in our selection process.
- A current Forklift Truck licence would be advantageous; however, full accredited training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence, have a minimum of three years' driving experience and be eligible to drive Company vehicles under the Company's motor insurance policy.
Previous warehouse, distribution, builders merchant or ventilation industry experience would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided, and applications from candidates with no previous experience are welcome.
Main Responsibilities
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately.
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring all goods received and dispatched match the relevant paperwork.
- Supporting stock control, stock monitoring and replenishment activities.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment.
- Operating a Forklift Truck where authorised.
- Occasional delivery driving to support the branch during busy periods, annual leave and sickness cover.
- Following all Company Health & Safety policies, procedures and safe working practices.

- Starting salary: £28,730 per annum, plus uncapped branch bonus scheme based on branch profitability.
