Warehouse and Logistics Apprentice
Main learning opportunities:
To complete the modules within the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative (Level 2) (ST0259)
To understand Good Distribution Practices and demonstrate how to apply the principles
To ensure that all Health & Safety procedures are followed
To participate in training in all aspects of Warehousing including forklift, Health and Safety, Manual Handling etc.
To understand and follow the principles of the company's Quality Management and Business Continuity Systems
To help to ensure that the warehouse is maintained in a neat, clean and tidy state
To provide assistance with deliveries/placement of Grifols supplied instrumentation as instructed by the Warehouse Manager
To proactively engage and take responsibility for learning by seeking support as required
To demonstrate a positive and willing attitude
Qualifications & aptitude:
5 GCSEs at D grade or above including Maths and English (flexible for right candidate)
High attention to detail
IT literate
Positive and willing to learn
Ability to communicate effectively
Willingness to learn
Time commitment:
- Travel to Warehouse location in Water beach, Cambridge -Monday to Friday.
- 35 hours per week Monday to Friday plus an additional daily break of no less than 30 minutes and a morning break of 15 minutes (depending on age and in line with the working time directive)
