The Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in supporting children and young people within our residential setting — promoting their independence, emotional wellbeing, and life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day care, guidance, and support to young people.
- Assist with daily routines, including education, activities, and household tasks.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with young people and colleagues.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of young people in your care.
- Accurately maintain records and complete reports as required.
- Participate in sleep-in shifts as part of the rota (paid at £60 per sleep-in).
Requirements:
- Previous experience in residential childcare or a similar care setting (preferred but not essential).
- A caring, patient, and resilient approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS on update service
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and sleep-ins.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards this qualification).
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
