Our Pippa's House Day Nursery in Ash Vale is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Assistant to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.
Hours: (Mon-Fri) 9am-3pm = 30 hours per week

About our nursery
Our nursery offers a vibrant and engaging environment where children thrive through a mix of outdoor exploration, creative play and hands-on learning. With a thoughtfully designed outdoor space, varied daily activities and regular community outings, we support children to build confidence, independence and curiosity about the world around them.
The nursery is also easily accessible, with excellent transport links including nearby train services and local bus routes connecting to surrounding areas.

What will you be doing
- Provide a positive practice role model to ensure that Grandir UK values are maintained
- Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is afforded to all staff, parents and children
- Supervise and support children at all times
- Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment
- Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners
- Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
- Ensure that any changes to policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to within the required timescale
- Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Notify your line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and colleagues
- Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained
- Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required
