Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food assembly to support chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including counters, utensils, equipment, and storage spaces
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met
- Support in serving meals to guests or customers in a timely and professional manner
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs
- Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients to prevent spoilage or contamination
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, cooking is a must!
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed
