RH Fibreboard Containers Ltd is looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join our Transport team based in Thornbury. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who takes pride in delivering outstanding service, maintaining high safety standards and representing the business professionally when interacting with customers across Bristol and the South West.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am to 4:45pm
- Friday: 8:00am to 12:00pm
About the Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of corrugated packaging products to customers throughout the region.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating company vehicles safely and in accordance with legislation and company procedures
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Loading, securing and unloading products safely
- Ensuring delivery paperwork is completed accurately
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery sites
- Communicating effectively with customers, colleagues and management
- Supporting the wider business where required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Relevant driver qualification and compliance requirements
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A reliable and professional approach to work
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
