Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Working Supervisor/Cleaner to oversee and perform commercial cleaning tasks across various premises. This role involves supervising cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and maintaining efficient operations within the team. The ideal candidate will have prior janitorial experience and a strong understanding of cleaning procedures. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks
- Perform detailed cleaning duties across commercial sites, including offices, retail spaces, and industrial facilities
- Train and mentor junior cleaning staff, promoting best practices and safety standards
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Manage cleaning supplies inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, with a strong understanding of cleaning standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Good communication skills to effectively lead a team and liaise with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
- Carry out cleaning audits
