Purpose
Reporting to the PR, Content & Social Manager, you'll not only be writing compelling content, but taking the initiative to drive excellent thought leadership content that engages a global audience and generates quality leads.
Working closely with the marketing, R&D and sales team, amongst a team of top tier marketers, you'll be responsible for strategizing and implementing industry-leading content to present BrightHR as a thought leader in the HR, Health & Safety and Payroll space globally.
You will be managing a talented and driven copywriter.
Hours of work
Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm
Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to the below:
Ideate, write and edit content of all lengths across digital marketing channels - e.g. whitepaper, infographic, product feature copy, email, video script, website copy, newsletter, paid ads, webinar promotion copy
Occasionally ideate, write and edit content for offline channels, such as event flyers, printed advertorials etc
Create and manage the monthly content calendar to align with the wider marketing calendar and business objectives
Work with SEO team to ensure content is following industry best practices
Plan and write content relevant for partners
Create email and social copy templates for sales and service teams
Working with our customers to create advocacy content, such as customer stories
Partner with in-house subject matter experts to develop content in a variety of formats - from blog posts and emails to infographics, videos, and more
Work with the wider marketing team to gain commercial insights into channel performance and impacts of content contributing e.g. testing variation of subject lines and paid social copy to improve conversion
Consistently stay on top of content marketing trends and competitor content - bring new ideas to explore and test
Write and edit content for internal communications such as sales toolkit, internal awareness day emails etc.
Key requirements Required skills and experience
Minimum 4 years in a Content Marketing role where you have written and edited both short-form and long-form content
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Background in B2B/ SaaS or HR/ employment law space is preferred
People management experience – ideally managed junior content execs/ copywriters
Good understanding of compelling content and FAB messaging with a commercial angle and goal in mind
Ability to multi-task and prioritise projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Collaborative team player with great interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
Hungry to learn and adapt to market changes to be a better content marketer every day
