Band 5 Chemotherapy Nurse, Marina Dalglish Centre, Aintree Hospital
4 days per week, 37.5 hour per week
The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust provides highly-specialist cancer care for a population of 2.4 million people across Cheshire & Merseyside, North Wales, the Isle of Man and parts of Lancashire.
Together, working across three sites and operating specialist chemotherapy clinics in four of Merseyside's district hospitals, we deliver a comprehensive range of inpatient care, advanced radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other systemic anti-cancer therapies including gene therapies and immunotherapies. We also deliver a pioneering Treatment at Home and Work service, are the only facility in the UK providing low-energy proton beam therapy to treat rare eye cancers, and host the region's Teenage and Young Adult Unit.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 5 nurse to work at our CCC - Aintree site in the Marina Dalglish Centre.
Main Duties of the Job
Deliver safe, high-quality cancer care and systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT)
Assess, plan and evaluate patient care within the chemotherapy setting.
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure an excellent patient experience.
Participate in education, training and professional development activities.
Maintain compliance with Trust policies, professional standards and clinical governance requirements.
As we deliver treatments in sector hubs and clinics across the Wirral and Liverpool, there will an element of cross cover required during training and once training has been completed. This will include travelling to all of our peripheral sites:
