Experienced Café Staff Wanted

Gym Junky is a brand new fitness café opening soon, and we're looking for passionate, hardworking and experienced individuals to join our founding team.
Built around healthy food, speciality coffee, protein shakes and a strong sense of community, Gym Junky is more than just a café it's a lifestyle brand dedicated to helping people fuel their bodies and build better habits.
As we prepare to open our doors, we're looking for enthusiastic team members who take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to be part of an exciting new business from day one.
What We're Looking For
- Previous café, restaurant or commercial kitchen experience
- Food preparation and stock rotation
- Knowledge of allergen management
- Experience working under Environmental Health standards
- A positive, friendly and professional attitude
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Excellent attention to cleanliness, organisation and presentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- An interest in fitness, health and wellbeing is a bonus
Desirable Experience
- Barista experience
- Food preparation and kitchen experience
- Front of house, waiter/waitress or customer service experience
- Smoothie and protein shake preparation
- Till/POS systems and cash handling
- Stock management and ordering
- Opening and closing procedures
- Deliveroo, Uber Eats and online order management
- Working in a fast-paced café, restaurant or hospitality environment
