Meridian Grand is a luxury wedding and events venue in North London. Some of the biggest and most prestigious weddings in the UK happen here. Hundreds of events every year, and thousands of guests walking into a room that has to be perfect every time.
Our setup team builds every event from an empty space. Tables, chairs, decor and furniture, all placed exactly right. Then taken down and built again for the next event. When a couple walk into the room for the first time, what they see is what our team made.
You do not need events experience. We will train you. We need people who work hard, work safely and turn up on time.
What you will do
- Construct stages, dancefloors and decor for incredible weddings
- Set up tables, chairs and furniture for events
- Clear, clean and reset rooms after events
- Move furniture and equipment safely around the venue
- Help keep the venue organised, clean and tidy
- Help with simple repairs and maintenance jobs
What we need from you
- You are reliable and turn up for every shift
- You are happy doing physical work. This job involves lifting, carrying, and being on your feet for long periods
- You work well in a team with a positive attitude
- You are flexible and can work different shifts
- You have enough English to follow safety instructions and work with your team
Useful but not needed: carpentry, building work, painting and decorating, or DIY and repairs.
Your shifts
The venue is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Shifts can be early morning, daytime, evening, nights and weekend. We give you your rota (work schedule) in advance.
