Green Machine is an environmentally conscious, forward-thinking commercial cleaning company, and we are looking for an ambitious, reliable and motivated Mobile Cleaning Operative to join our expanding team across Brighton and the surrounding area.
Own reliable transport is required due to the mobile nature of the role.
This is more than a standard cleaning position. As part of our mobile support team, you will work across a variety of client locations, supporting existing teams, covering holidays and absence, helping with new contract start-ups and stepping into sites where additional support is needed. The role offers variety, responsibility and the chance to become a trusted part of the wider operational team.
A key area of our continued growth is healthcare. Our core client base includes GP surgeries, medical centres, clinics and other healthcare environments where professionalism, reliability, attention to detail and high cleaning standards really matter. You will also support other commercial sites across the area as required.

You will work closely with the Business Director and local management team, giving you exposure to how client sites are managed, how standards are audited and improved, how new contracts are mobilised and how strong client relationships are built.

What you will be doing
- Providing mobile cleaning support across Green Machine client sites in Brighton and within approximately a 10 mile radius.
- Supporting planned holiday cover, sickness cover, vacancies, new site start-ups and locations requiring additional operational support.
- Completing day-to-day cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, sanitising and touch-point cleaning.
- Being flexible as most of our clients require out of hours cleaning (mornings, evenings after premises close).
- Maintaining clean, safe and presentable environments and taking pride in the detail of your work.
- Working professionally within healthcare and other commercial environments and representing Green Machine positively with clients.
- Communicating effectively with the Business Director, managers, supervisors and site teams to keep operations running smoothly.
- Following training, site procedures, health and safety requirements and our environmentally responsible cleaning practices.

- No prior cleaning experience is required - full training will be provided.
- Own reliable transport is required due to the mobile nature of the role.
