Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated event cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness.
This role is essential in creating a welcoming and safe environment for visitors.
The role can involve a lot of walking so the ability to be on your feet most of the day is necessary.
Shift times:
- Saturday 6:00 - 12:00
- Sunday 6:00 - 12:00
- Monday 6:00 - 12:00
We do however understand if you can't do every shift due to other work commitments.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as required.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Restock toilet paper, soap, and cleaning materials as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning is highly desirable.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, including safe handling practices.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with team members.
