Full Time & Part Time Negotiator
Our bright and cheerful office in Cathays is currently seeking 1 Full Time and 1 Part Time Negotiator to work as part of our branch.
At least 1 year's previous experience in property lettings or sales is essential. You will need to have excellent customer service skills and want to thrive in a challenging and rewarding role. Your negotiating skills and patience will be required and tested at all times.
Main roles and responsibilities include:
- To ensure that updated property lists are available in the office for prospective tenants at all times.
- Management of the daily diary and individual tasks.
- To achieve rental targets as set out on a monthly basis.
- To be responsible for income taken in the Lettings Office.
- To carry out viewings with prospective tenants, matching them to suitable available properties.
- Driving the company vehicles (full UK driving licence is essential).
- Effectively use the Microsoft Office system. Training will be given on other property software and databases.
- Chasing up leads and generating new business.
- To confirm new rentals with landlords by telephone and in writing.
- To communicate effectively and professionally with customers and be polite and courteous to tenants and landlords on a daily basis.
- To complete all paperwork accurately according to company procedures.
- To complete accurate rental evaluations with landlords, advising on current legislation and Horizon regulations.
- To organise the Lettings Diary on a daily basis. Prepare all viewing lists, ensuring tenants are provided with adequate notice for access as per the instruction of the Branch Manager.
- To assess the reference requirements of the tenant, confirming details with the landlord where necessary.
All applicants must be computer literate. Excel and Word are used on a daily basis in addition to specific property databases, for which training will be given.
A full, clean UK driving licence is required.
Salary: Depending on experience, with additional commission.
