The Role
We’re looking for a Forklift Driver who’s excited to bring their skills and ideas to the table. In this role, you’ll play a key role in the efficient operation of our Warehouse and associated logistics activities within the packaging area. The role is responsible for ensuring assigned tasks run correctly, contributing to the achievement of production volume targets while maintaining required quality, food safety, and health & safety standards. .
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate forklifts and clamp trucks safely and efficiently, completing all required H&S checks.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks, including movement of empties and finished product.
- Transport empties and full cans between the warehouse, small pack (canning), and production areas.
- Handle gas loading for FLTs when required.
- Use the SAP handheld device and system for booking stock in/out.
- Maintain high standards of order, housekeeping, and hygiene within the work area, carrying out cleaning, autonomous maintenance, material handling, and other support tasks as required.
- Ensure the correct use, care, and preservation of equipment, tools, and materials, promptly reporting any faults or incidents that could impact plant operations.
- Execute and monitor tasks related to Quality, Food Safety, HACCP, and Food Defence within the assigned area, ensuring compliance with site standards and regulatory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Experience within the brewing industry or a food manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Experience loading and unloading trailers.

- Reliable, safety‑conscious, and proactive in maintaining high operational and hygiene standards.
- Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and multitask- particularly when planning work and completing audit documentation.
- Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Flexible and willing to work various shift patterns and weekends when required.
Functional Competencies
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence; experience with clamp “top hat,” double‑fork, or other forklift attachments beneficial.
- Awareness of Health & Safety and Food Safety requirements, with HACCP training or certification preferred.
- Experience with SAP or willingness to learn site systems.
Extra's
- Salary : £34,048.02
- Hours : 39 hours per week across 3 shifts (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am)
