We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food assembly under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Support the cooking process by preparing ingredients, chopping vegetables, and organising supplies
- Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Help with the organisation and restocking of ingredients and supplies as needed
- Assist in serving meals to customers or staff in a courteous and professional manner
- Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Support the team during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of meals
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or food preparation is advantageous
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Experience in serving or front-of-house roles is beneficial but not essential

Hours 9.30am - 2.30pm
Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Pay: £13.00 per hour
