Painters cottage day nursery is looking to employ an enthusiastic level 2 or 3 nursery nurse to join our small and friendly team. We have full time and part time opportunities available for 38 hours.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role include:
· Providing fun and creative learning opportunities for the children in our care
· Providing a safe and happy learning environment for the children to develop
· Being aware of the safeguarding and child protection responsibilities with regards to reporting concerns and following procedure
· To act as a key person, being responsible for completing observations and supporting development for your key children
· To familiarise yourself with and follow the nurseries policies and procedures day to day
· Forming good relationships with parents to enable us to work in close partnership with our families
